Cutting gaskets at RIS Rubber
10 October 2024
Did you know that it is possible to have gaskets cut at RIS Rubber? Gaskets are flat seals that are cut from rubber or other material, depending on your application . Naturally made to measure and in the best fitting quality.
Rubber gaskets are a commonly seen solution to prevent leaks of liquids and gases. These gaskets are cut to size and often used between two rigid joints to prevent leaks, such as in a flange gasket. Even at low surface pressure, rubber effectively seals the space. At RIS Rubber, we offer different types of rubber seals, all with unique properties to suit your specific application.
With our computer-controlled cutting machines, we cut the most unique designs and products from sheet material. Mostly rubber of course, but we can also handle materials such as aramid fibreboard, PTFE, graphite (nail) board, soft PVC, various plastics, oil paper and wool felt. These materials are mostly available from stock, allowing us to achieve short delivery times. We cut up to a thickness of 15 mm, and for thicker material we use a waterjet cutting plotter.
All you need for cutting your rubber product is a digital DXF drawing. You can provide this, or we can create the drawing together. We are happy to think along with you!
