Community engagement and corporate social responsibility (CSR) are fundamental principles for RIS Rubber. We adhere to them by continually refining our working methods and how we interact with the environment, our community and our partners. We follow the CSR Performance Ladder as our guide.

At our production sites in the Netherlands and Bulgaria, our quality teams ensure that we responsibly develop, manufacture and deliver high-quality products. Efficient use of raw materials is an integral part of this process. By reusing as much rubber waste as possible, we reduce our waste percentage. Naturally, we always provide you, as our customer, with honest and transparent information.
Investing in employees and encouraging them to develop within their specialised field is important to us. The latest high-tech production processes require greater knowledge and responsibility, so we invest in our people through training and education. There are also opportunities for exchange programmes between our production sites in the Netherlands and Bulgaria.

Ruben, the son of an employee, plays with the SC Cambuur youth academy for under-12 players. We support Ruben in his development, his journey toward a potential professional career and the youth academy at SC Cambuur as a whole.
Culture brings people together. This is an important aspect at RIS because art and culture are for everyone. Cultural sponsorship is therefore a very deliberate choice for us.
Since 2007, we have proudly sponsored the Jazz Festival in Enkhuizen, cultural centre De Drom, the annual Zuiderhavendijk concert and carnival association De Haringshoppers.
