From prototype to production
At RIS Rubber, we strive for perfection – from prototype to production. If desired, we create a demo model from a trial mould and test the prototype thoroughly. Based on the test results, we adjust the design and compound characteristics as needed. Once the prototype is approved, we begin production. Thanks to our extensive manufacturing capabilities, we can produce items in both small and large volumes, ranging from just a few dozen grams to several tonnes each.
From idea to mould
The importance of the mould
The mould is essential for manufacturing rubber products. Our mould engineers use product drawings to determine the mould’s design, taking into account the production method, rubber grade, quantities and intended application of the product. Depending on the mould’s size and complexity, the process from engineering to completion can take one to three months. Our Quality department inspects the first product sample and prepares a measurement report, which is sent to the customer for approval and official release.
