We produce moulded rubber products and rubber-to-metal bonded parts for the agricultural sector on a daily basis, supplying them directly to machine builders. Examples include pintle bars, haulm toppers, belts, rubber nozzles, drive rollers and axial rollers.

CLEVERLY DESIGNED HOSE PINCH VALVE

Because standard solutions for hose pinch valves did not meet Bomech’s requirements, they turned to RIS Rubber. This marked the beginning of the journey to develop the perfect hose pinch valve. Manure spreaders are fitted with rubber nozzles that inject slurry into the soil, an environmentally friendly approach that ensures optimal nutrient absorption. The smart design of our hose pinch valve has significantly improved the slurry application process, resulting in minimal waste and increased productivity. Following the success of our collaboration with Bomech, an XXL version is now under development.

THE BENEFITS OF HAULM TOPPERS

We make haulm toppers for harvesting machines. A haulm topper is an implement attached to a tractor or integrated into a harvester. It is a rapidly rotating shaft with flails that strips foliage from crops. The flails are made from a rubber-to-metal bonded part. Haulm topping offers many benefits for the agricultural sector. It is used as a mechanical alternative to chemical defoliation and can be performed several weeks before harvesting. Additionally, haulm topping facilitates the flow of crops through the machines and improves harvest yields.

AXIAL ROLLERS & MORE

Rubber rollers are crucial components in the cleaning modules of harvesters. Different types of rollers – such as axial rollers, spiral rollers and smooth rollers – each serve a unique function within the machine. We produce these in various lengths, diameters and qualities. In harvesters, crops like potatoes and sugar beets are transported over rubber-coated hedgehog/pintle bars and axial rollers. These prevent damage to the harvested crops. To drive these conveyor belts, drive rollers and transport rollers are used, all protected by a layer of rubber. Rubber is both durable and wear-resistant, extending the lifespan of the components. So the use of rubber products in agricultural machinery is a profoundly practical choice.
