RIS Rubber is growing. And we are currently outgrowing our space in the metal pre-processing department. And what do you do then? Then you get a bigger size. The renovation has already started and we are working hard to double the capacity of the metal pre-machining department. Not only RIS Rubber is growing, the products for our customers are also growing. For example, with a metal ring 1.80m in diameter, the current department is quickly full. Work to do then!

The new spray booth (± 200m²!) will be a fully enclosed, air-conditioned space. The room is equipped with a heat recovery system, which, among other things, keeps the temperature constant. Thanks to the optimised environmental conditions, drying times will be shorter and always remain constant, resulting in even more consistent product quality.

Thanks to heat recovery, we also work more energy-efficiently. In addition, the extraction system is equipped with an intelligent control system that ensures substantially lower energy consumption. Of course, the working conditions for our employees have also been considered. There is better light in the spray booth, more space for spraying and the temperature is also more comfortable for them.

So although work has already started, it is still a big job. By Q1 2024, everything must be ready. Meanwhile, work continues ‘as usual’ during the renovation.
